"Make IT green". What do you do when your mobile phone stops working? Or your computer breaks down? Every year, we throw away up to 50 million tonnes of unwanted electronic waste – e-waste. That’s enough to fill one million trucks that would stretch half way around the entire globe if they were parked end to end.
The publication titled „Through Their Eyes. Images of of the economic situation of women from developing countries of Central Europe, the Balkans and Central Asia” have been written by Anita Seibert and project coordinator Ewa Pintera with the support of researchers. The publication relied heavily on EU, UNDP, UN data, and information prepared other organisations dealing with the region of Central Asia and Eastern Europe. Every chapter has been consulted (or at lease sent for consultation) with KARAT members organisation from the country the given chapter referred too. The publication has also included number of photographs from the exhibition organised within the same project. 2008
"China calling: make IT fair." Chances are that your mobile phone was made in China. Half of the world’s mobile phones are made there – as well as huge numbers of computers, MP3 players and game consoles.
The folder "Kobiety o swojej pracy w supermarketach" describes in short identified thanks to the research "Situation of women in super/hypermarkets in Poland" forms and areas of the employees rights violations.

KARAT is regularly publishing the newsletter of the project: "FairPlay in sporting goods production". It contains a variety of articles related to the working conditions in garment industry as well as social responsibility of companies and consumers. The newsletter informs about current campaign actions undertaken by project activists aimed at consumers’ education and activisation. It also updates Polish readers on international campaigns. In 2007 and 2008 5 issues of the newsletter have been printed, another four are planned for 2009. 
"Find out the true cost of a phone call" in this consumer guide. Now the makeITfair campaign is calling on young people across Europe to help improve the lives of workers in the developing world who make our electronic dreams come true. Together, we can make IT fair for people everywhere!
KARAT together with its partners in the project funded by European Structural Funds “Gender mainstreaming in the labour market institutions” issued a brochure “Gender Equality in the Labour Market”. The publication aims at introducing the EU standards related to gender equality in the labour market and at presenting the ways of implementing the gender perspective into the projects on employment issues to the staff of the institutions and NGOs dealing with labour market.
