On 28th – 30th of May representatives of Coalition Karat partook in a study visit in Gotenburg, Sweden. On a special request, both of them prepared presentations, Kinga Lohmann presented situation of migrantion policy in Poland, Agata Maksimowska had a presentation about Women’s Network – initiative of immigrants and refugees involved in fighting for their rights. Apart from Karat Coalition, 3 other organizations took part in this meeting – Wide Austria, Le Monde Selon Les Femmes oraz Centro de Estudios e Investigacion sobre Mujeres.

14-15th of October 2017 we were in Vienna at a meeting of partner organizations in the project “The Europe we want? Feminist approaches to gender, migration and democracy “(Erasmus +). The participants from Austria, Spain, Belgium, Sweden and Poland (Karat Coalition) shared their experiences in working with organizations and networks of women migrants. We also discussed the discrimination and problems encountered by women refugees or migrants in European countries. WIDE Austria and Network Of Eritrean Women organized a public debate on gender, migration and security.
