Karat runs the activities for women refugees and migrants who have come to the EU countries in search of safety and work. Currently two projects are being implemented in this area – “The Europe we want? Feminist approaches to gender, migration and democracy “and “Women’s Empowerment, Integration and Participation “.

The first initiative aims to create a space for dialogue, possible cooperation and solidarity between migrants / refugees and women’s organizations. The activities are conducted together with the feminist organizations of WIDE+ network from Austria, Belgium, Spain, Poland and Sweden.

The second initiative aims at improving the social and economic situation of women migrants and refugees in host countries, including Poland. The slogan of the project is “The Strength of Women! Strength in diversity and solidarity!”
